Found injured wildlife?
If an animal is injured, trapped or in immediate danger, seek help promptly. Our WhatsApp and Messenger services are messaging services, not 24-hour emergency lines.
If the animal needs urgent treatment and SWR cannot respond, contact a veterinary practice or another wildlife rescue without delay. Do not put yourself at risk or attempt to handle dangerous wildlife.
When contacting us, please include: the species (if known), exact location, what has happened, how the animal is behaving, and photographs if safe to take.
