Wildlife in distress, found an injured animal?

Hi there! At Sompting Wildlife Rescue, we currently do not use a phone service for several reasons:

  1. Resource Constraints: As a small organization, we have limited resources and staff. Managing phone calls can be time-consuming and may divert attention from the urgent care and rehabilitation of wildlife.

  2. Efficiency: Using online contact forms and social media platforms like Facebook allows us to respond to queries more efficiently. These methods enable us to manage and prioritize incoming requests effectively.

  3. Documentation: Online forms and emails provide a written record of each query, which helps us keep track of the information and ensures that nothing is missed during communication.

  4. Availability: Our volunteers and staff may not always be available to answer phone calls, especially during busy periods or emergencies. Online communication allows us to respond at our own pace and ensures that we can provide accurate and thorough assistance.
